These Terms of Use govern access to Show Pig Compass, a service operated by Vaught Family Farm, LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Adult-managed family accounts
Direct account creation is for adults age 18 or older. The adult who creates a family account becomes its Owner and is responsible for managing family access. Youth exhibitors ages 13–17 may participate only through an adult-managed invitation and with appropriate parent or guardian permission.
Project information
Show Pig Compass helps organize show-pig records and learning materials. Families remain responsible for verifying animal identification, health and withdrawal requirements, medication directions, fair rules, registration requirements, show entries, feed decisions, and other livestock-management decisions with appropriate veterinarians, labels, Extension resources, breed organizations, fairs, or other qualified authorities.
Subscriptions and Show Season access
Web plans may include recurring Monthly or Annual Family subscriptions and fixed-term Show Season access. Prices and pig-capacity limits are shown before checkout. Recurring subscriptions continue until canceled. When cancellation is scheduled, access generally continues through the paid billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law.
Payments and refunds
Web payments may be processed through Stripe. Native-app purchases may be processed through Apple or Google. The payment provider used for a purchase may control parts of the billing, cancellation, and refund process. Except where required by law or specifically stated otherwise, fees for time already used are not automatically refundable.
Account access and acceptable use
You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Do not attempt to access another family’s records, interfere with the service, bypass account or payment controls, upload unlawful material, or use Show Pig Compass in a way that harms other users or the service.
Availability and changes
Features may be improved, changed, or discontinued as the product develops. Reasonable efforts are made to keep the service available, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Planned changes will be made with the goal of preserving family records and purchased access whenever reasonably possible.
Educational content
Show Pig Learning Center materials are educational resources and are not a substitute for veterinary advice, medication labels, official fair rules, breed-association rules, or professional livestock guidance.
Third-party references and links
Show Pig Compass may link to universities, Extension programs, fairs, breed associations, government resources, and other outside educational sources for reference. Show Pig Compass and Vaught Family Farm, LLC are independent and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by those organizations unless a specific relationship is expressly stated. External links do not imply approval or endorsement of Show Pig Compass. Third-party names, trademarks, logos, publications, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
Intellectual property
Show Pig Compass software, branding, original text, graphics, and learning materials are owned by or licensed to Vaught Family Farm, LLC unless otherwise identified. Users retain ownership of the records, photos, and other content they submit, subject to the limited rights necessary for Show Pig Compass to store, process, display, and back up that content to provide the service.
Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for serious misuse, fraud, unlawful activity, security threats, or repeated violations of these terms. Families may stop using the service and request eligible account deletion through support.
